I just moved to Toronto from NYC. Emigrating from the US and trying to get settled in a new city has given me a lot of headaches, but I’ve also learned a lot. I decided to write this blog to provide a platform for newcomers to Canada and Toronto to connect and also to share my learnings in a hope to save you some of the same headaches while you get settled.
My experiences will come from the viewpoint of someone moving from the US to Canada, but I hope it can also be more widely applied to people new to the area from other places too. I welcome your feedback.
